Why are you interested in game elements? What experience do you have with gamifying learning?

Currently I work as a graduate professor at Universidad Metropolitana in Caracas Venezuela. My area of interest is the evaluation of knowledge, and I am very interested in learning about the application of game elements in the learning process, particularly in the evaluation process.
I have no previous experience beyond a few trials in this area, but so far nothing formal.
I am very interested in designing a course utilizandoi achieve these elements of the game. I hope to do soon.

I have long been working in the area of Instructional Technology particularly in regard to the Evaluation of Learning. That's why I'm interested in this course. I would like to learn a little about the use of the elements of the games in the learning process particularly in the assessment of learning. I have no experience in this area but I read some work in the area. My native language is Spanish. Even though my English is not very good, I can read fluently so I hope to make the most of the activities.
